Information

“I am a Brighton based, combined media artist incorporating digital technology, audio, film, and recently I have introduced textiles, spoken word and performance into my work. My artistic inspiration comes from the intricate role’s women play in families and society, extending into our relationships in urban spaces and to nature. My ultimate objective is to use my art as a platform for instigating change, contributing to the ongoing discourse around identity, and society. I aspire to collaborate with fellow artists, engage with communities, and exhibit my work in spaces where it can spark dialogue and motivate change”.

Karen was resident on the ‘ArtsDRIVA @ Fusebox’ programme in Brighton, run by Wired Sussex and worked with sound artist Kevin Grist on immersive Installation (Solace), inspired by people’s interaction with open space.

She is currently supported by Arts Council England.
